Vary on condition; normally 10 minutes but a double session of 20 minutes can be organised if relevant
Does Chiropractic Hurt?
Not at all, but there is a misconception that chiropractic is very physical. It can be at times, but specific for the case, we use specific manipulations to improve function. It can result in mild discomfort over the region for 24-48 hours, but generally an immediate relief is experienced.
Do I have to be referred by my GP?
Chiropractic is a primary health care service, so there is no need for referral from your GP, just book an appointment.
Will I need an X-ray?
It is dependent on your condition/age and incidence of pain you present with.
What’s/ what is the difference between Chiropractic, Osteopathy and Physiotherapy?
Chiropractic is an holistic therapy, physiotherapy does tend to be more symptom pain based, osteopathy is similar to chiropractic although chiropractic ideologies are in understanding that the nervous system is the control of all the body.
